MobileShop POS ("we", "us", "our") provides point-of-sale software for mobile phone shops, available as a Windows desktop application and an Android mobile application (together, the "Software"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Software or our website at mobileshoppos.duckdns.org, and how that information is used and protected.
By installing or using MobileShop POS, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: shop name, owner name, email address and phone number provided during registration or trial signup.
- Business data you enter: sales invoices, inventory items, customer records, credit/udhaar balances, repair job details, purchases and expense entries.
- Device information: device type, operating system version and app version, used for support and compatibility.
- Usage data: basic feature usage and error logs, used to improve stability of the desktop and mobile apps.
- Payment details: subscription plan selected and payment status, processed through our payment partner (see Section 6).
3. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate core POS features such as billing, inventory, repair tracking and reporting.
- To sync data between your Windows desktop app and Android mobile app on Monthly and Yearly plans.
- To process subscription payments and send billing confirmations or reminders.
- To provide customer support and respond to your queries.
- To send important service updates, such as maintenance notices or policy changes.
- To improve the Software's performance, security and reliability.
4. Data Storage & Security
Business data entered on the Free Plan is stored locally on your device. Data on Monthly and Yearly plans is additionally stored on secured cloud servers to enable synchronisation between your desktop and mobile app. We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your data from unauthorised access, alteration or loss. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Cloud Sync Data
Cloud Sync is available on the Monthly and Yearly plans and keeps your sales, inventory and customer data consistent across the Windows app and Android app in real time. Cloud-synced data is associated with your registered shop account and is accessible only through your login credentials.
6. Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed by a licensed third-party payment gateway. MobileShop POS does not store your full card number, CVV or online banking credentials on its own servers — these are handled directly by our payment processing partner in accordance with their own security standards and privacy policy.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal or business data. Information may be shared only with:
- Our payment gateway partner, strictly to process subscription payments.
- Service providers who help us operate cloud sync and hosting infrastructure, under confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement or regulatory authorities, where required by applicable law in Pakistan.
8. Your Rights & Choices
- You may request a copy of your account and business data at any time.
- You may request correction of inaccurate account information.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated cloud data, subject to our record-keeping obligations for billing history.
- You may switch off Cloud Sync at any time by downgrading to the Free Plan; locally stored data on your device remains under your control.

9. Children's Privacy
MobileShop POS is a business tool intended for shop owners and staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Software or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will indicate the most recent revision. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
